Nebula
04:09
|
|||
(Dan Brogan, James Davis)
We don't need anyone
to say how to live our lives.
We'll get in our rocket ships
And escape into the skies.
To a near by nebula.
I find myself alone in the heavens.
All alone for an eternity.
As time passes on I am letting
myself succumb to insanity.
Centerfold, unleashed to behold. Mason maids stop suffering.
An enterprise to conquer all the stars in the sky.
Their demise, falling angels release their cries.
These cosmic observations remain surmise

Arcane Arts & Crafts
03:44
|

(By: James Davis)
Harpoon draw me in.
Your window pane eyes explore my skin.
Dark matter engulfs the space between our brow.
I'm nowhere else but here and now.
Pick me up off the ground, before it's too late don't let me drown.
Wax & Wane up and down, procrastinate, feeling sound.
Showing soul, pound for paragraph off the ground.
Lose control, stalky mounds, to pretty pyramids.
Soundly sleeping among the rest.
Gone to far, no escape, calm your self, fluctuate.
In old words, contemplate, feeling sound, hibernate.
Roll on by pass through another day. There's too many shadows, not enough space.
Space is so vast, and we are so small, opinions so loud, souls flushed out with ethanol.
Haul high horses high up beneath the sun, the song will end in countdown
3 2 1....
There's too many massacres, pile up I'm asking her xenophobes, hemoglobins, flowing up from bashing their machete knives.
Strive strife, said and done in 1995. Rwandan soil, war unfoiled, Hutus lost their mind, tutsi tribe lost their lives. Chili vibe the monsters claim, raw divine, swine before pearls, saw a sign. Twirled up, dialect, couldn't dial in, decipher it, bet it sounds so sweet, like Lucifer lullaby's swinging off my feet. The winds of word carries out the seedlings of each man cured from the sick sounds that he sings. I stumbled humbly, in battlefronts bubbly. A man told me something "see" a sea of words won't budge a fleet. If you're on the ground.

Euthanasia
03:01
|
|||
(By: Dan Brogan)
Euthanasia
I’ve been broken for sometime.
Beyond repair, in my despair
I now, at the end of my life.
Euthanasia, I see the light.
Misery, is my best company.
I’ve known her very well.
Euthanasia, set me free
From this eternal hell.
Neglected and bored
I watch the world go by
From my lonely porch
I look one last time
Before I close my eyes
And say goodnight
I reflect on my life
And begin to cry.

Drifter
07:09
|
|||
(First Verse: James Davis, Second Verse: Dan Brogan)
Drifter
I'm choking on my tongue, tear open my chest cavity
so comfortably numb, want to disregard gravity.
For a little longer want a stronger jolt into the sky.
I'm laying next to you 2:30 in the morning, on kitchen floor when the want to nuzzle in store me.
Closer to your heart and your head and between your hip bones.
I found you
I'm in the desert oasis, painting the sky from the canvas of my mind.
The night devours the day, right where we lay, we say goodbye to the dissipating light.
We drift away into outer space, through time, while we lay here and gaze at the dreams of the day.
Your in my arms, and our bleeding hearts coagulate to create the desert landscape.

Static
03:41
|
|||
(Lyrics by: Dan Brogan)
I'm just another pixel in the static
Lost in a sea of many faces
In a world of mindless plastic
bodies that try to control me.
I'm running away from my dreams
Reality is tearing up at its seams
slowly my world dissolves into insanity
Now I've lost my being
The liberation
of your mind
All the power
will leave us blind
The power to control
will leave you soulless.
Ill eat your soul

Heartstring Hoopla
02:23
|
|||
James Davis:
Always hallways lead shortcuts to your heartstrings.
Leave me far too vacant but our blood still streams adjacent.
Invasive thoughts parading in my mind your beauty marks are the awestruck of mankind.
Harbor me wholesome harmony. Harmlessly love again.
Always, Always.

Empty Shell
05:01
|
|||
(Lyrics By: Dan Brogan)
She used to be free
but now we see
that she’s captive within herself.
She used to feel,
she used to dream
but now she is an empty shell.
Her eyes glazed, and her mind dazed
As she numbs her core, just a bit more,
she enters the state of mind, that renders her blind
from the problems of the day, and the people she must face.
Running through the motions
all the time
Her thoughts are obstructions
to achieve delight
Trapped forever within an empty shell, that once resembled herself
she lives for the moment of inebriation,
with the ensuing destruction
of herself and creation of her internal hell
She used to be free.

Memories
06:59
|
|||
(Lyrics By: Dan Brogan)
Memories of our past are only dreams,
in the great scheme of things.
We escape from our lives
and live within our minds,
To remember what could have been.
The elusive faces on main street.
The once crowded scene is now just space.
Memories of the sweet melodies,
are now only empty phrases.
The forgotten friends play red rover.
We were children once again.
We’d all go to Meet Grover,
and we’d wish the day would never end.
The campfires would never die,
within all of our heads.
We could all remain friends in time,
We could all be friends again.
